2004 - Romania

ROMPAINT 2004 exhibition in Bucharest, Romania from 30
March - 1 April 2004 (10:00-18:00). This is the annual event for
the Romanian industry for paints, ink and adhesives.

In 2002, Francolor Pigments
celebrated ten years of being a member of the TOYO INK Group.
The French Chemical Industries
Union "Union des Industries Chimiques" has launched
a national operation called "A la rencontre de la Chimie"
(Meeting with Chemistry).Francolor Pigments has decided to participate
in this event together with the company YORKSHIRE.
An exhibition held in
the town of Oissel, Normandy, France at the :
- Salle d'exposition
de la Ville de Oissel - 1bis rue du Maréchal Foch (from
the 14th-19th October 2002 - from 9am-6pm) to gether with
a Conference-debate which will take place on Saturday
19 October - 10.30am at the Foyer Municipal de Oissel -
1 rue Masson.
Francolor Pigments had
participate in an exhibition organised at the Oise Department
Council in Beauvais (France) whose title is "Companies in
Oise who have managed to withstand the test of time and have survived
for over one hundred years" (from 7th.
October to 22nd. November 2002).
Francolor Pigments will partner the 11th Forum
de la Connaissance organised by the 'AFTPVA "Association
française des Techniciens des Peintures, Vernis, Encres
d'imprimerie, Colles et Adhésifs and the CoRI (Belgium)
, which will take place in Paris on the 14th
and the 15th November 2002, which
will focus on the new metallic, nacreous, mutlilayered and fluorescent
pigments, on structured and liquid crystal pigments. The Forum
will also deal with the paint formulation with these pigments,
the role of rheology, the choice of the measuring instruments
and their geometry, the colorimetric control of the effects and
the colour matching.
FRANCOLOR's new organization : Daniel GRONIER
has been nominated President of Francolor Pigments. He maintains
his position as International Marketing Manager of Toyo Ink's
Pigments Division.
Daniel GRONIER, 55 years
old, has spent a major part of his career in France and abroad
in the Swiss group Ciba Speciality Chemicals. He left his job
as President of Ciba France in 2000 to join Toyo Ink in order
to globalize the Pigments Division of this world leader in Graphic
Arts.
